How to Use?

Mimecast is an archive system implemented at Transcom Sharaf Logistics. It allows the customer to archive all emails sent to the customer domain and access them whenever they want. A Retention Policy has been applied to this system as well. The policy keeps all emails for 30 days and then delete them from Outlook, making them available on Mimecast.

Before the emails are sent to Outlook and first pass through Mimecast. And every email that is not showing on Outlook, it will show in Mimecast. In case this happens see below how to go through Mimecast:

Sometimes you can receive emails and they don’t display on Outlook nor Mimecast Online Inbox. This happens when a suspicious email is sent to you and Mimecast cant categorize it due to certificates issue. In this situation the user must got to On Hold Messages and check if there are any emails stuck on Personal On Hold or Moderated On Hold. If its stuck on Personal On Hold, the user must click on the email and click on Release and Permit Address send when you know the sender or Block Address when the sender is unknown. If its stuck on Moderated On Hold, need to contact Mimecast Administrator.
